We have been carefully planning behind the scenes to move to the next stage of our ‘new normal’ life at Abbey Vets.
🌟W eare happy to say that we will welcome clients back inside the practice from Monday 3rd of August. 🌟
We have extensive safety measures in place to protect our staff and our clients which you can see a summary of below & we will explain these to you at time of booking.
We appreciate your patience so far during this pandemic and as we move forwards. There are still inefficiencies as a result of the new guidelines necessary to protect everyone’s safety so please continue to bear with us if things take a little longer.

Key guidelines for clients attending the practice from Monday 3rd of August:
🟢Please DO NOT attend the practice if you are experiencing any symptoms of Coronavirus of have been in contact with a symptomatic person in the last 14days. Don’t worry though, we can still provide care to your pet if this is the case -please call us to discuss this.
🟢Please wear a face mask/covering over your nose & mouth whilst inside the practice. Disposable masks can be provided to clients who do not have a face covering available for a small fee - please discuss this with reception before your appointment.
🟢SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES
🌟 Please maintain 2m distance from others. 2m is indicated by red floor stickers at all sites.
🌟Waiting room capacity - each of our branches have specific maximum waiting capacity to ensure social distancing.
🌟Please only report to reception a couple of minutes before your appointment - not too early and certainly not late.
🌟Please adhere to the queuing systems indicated by red circular stickers on the floor.If there isn’t a safe spot to queue please wait outside until one becomes free- if you are afraid of missing your appointment due to this please call reception who will help.
🌟Only one client should attend the practice for your pets appointment where possible please.
🟢Please use the hand sanitiser available.
🟢 Ourr eception desks are fitted with screens - please stand directly behind these screens when at Reception on the designated floor spots.
🟢Card payments are still preferred.
🟢Due to social distancing guidelines you will not be able to hold your pet for examination/treatment by the Vet - the vet will do this with a Nurse.
