Clinical Director/Experienced Small Animal Vet – Abergavenny
A “foodie” market town, set in beautiful countryside, 45mins from both Cardiff and Bristol.

Due to expansion, we are looking for an additional Clinical Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a certificate holder or working towards one. We are looking for a Vet with a real passion for Clinical Practice and team development. To be a true 'Clinical' Director, focusing on providing excellence and mentoring our team to ensure they can do the same. Experience at this level is desired, but we will provide support for someone looking to take that next step in their career. It is very important to us that we find the right person for our lovely team and will provide training and support to ensure the right candidate will have job satisfaction.  

Abbey Vets’ team pride ourselves on providing high quality care for our patients and clients, whilst achieving a real work life balance. With 13 vets and 4 well equipped, RCVS accredited sites with all the usual toys, we provide a varied and interesting case load. Our team includes certificate holders in Surgery and Medicine + visiting Cardiologist, meaning we can provide fantastic case support when required. 24-hour nursing at our main Abergavenny site enables us to provide excellent clinical care to our patients.  

OOH covered by external providers. Lunch and finishing on time matter and do really happen.      

The role will be mainly based at our Abergavenny site. Benefits include:·      

• 4 day week.
• 1/5 Saturdays.
• 08.45 start. Last appointment at 18.15.
• 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
• One day leave for volunteering (your choice of where).

Our client catchment area includes Monmouth and Usk that have both been Voted “best place to live” by the Sunday Times in recent years.  

Accommodation is available to help with relocation if required. A direct recruitment will allow us to grant a £1000 relocation bonus.

Full-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse Vacancy - Brecon
• 4 Day week (every other week)
• NO Out of Hours duties
• NO Weekends

Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has excellent clinical standards and is a team player? If so, you could be just the person we are looking for!

We have a vacancy at Abbey Vets Brecon, for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse working as a sole charge branch nurse alongside a supportive Vet and Reception team. This role will be predominantly based at our Brecon site, however occasional travel to our other branches may be required.

With excellent facilities and fantastic team, you will be utilizing your nursing skills to promote high standards of clinical and client care alongside a supportive team. Confidence in assisting with routine operations, diagnostic imaging and nurse consultations is desired. Our practice sees a varied and interesting case load, and personal development is supported and encouraged. Previous sole charge nursing experience is an advantage, but not essential as training and support will be given.

In summary:

• Full time sole charge branch based RVN.
• Alternate 4day weeks on a rolling rota:
Week 1: 5days/week Monday-Friday 0845 – 1830.
Week 2: 4days/week 0845-1830 with Tuesday off.
• No OOH.
• No Weekends.
• First opinion practice.
• Potential for personal development.
