Abbey Vets comprises a group of companion animal practices that cover the areas of Monmouthsire, Powys and Blaenau Gwent.

Our main small animal clinic - RCVS accredited Tier II, grooming room and out patients nurse clinic is based on Hereford Road, Abergavenny.  Small animal consulting and operating facilities are available at our Tredegar clinic and and consulting room and basic veterinary shop essentials at our Crickhowell surgery.

We are proud to have opened the only profressionally staffed 'Grooming Room'  in Abergavenny which provides you with a fully equipped dog grooming centre in Abergavenny with City and Guilds qualified grooming staff and the latest in modern bathing and grooming equipment.  Phone 01873 854308 for an appointment.

As pets owners ourselves we provide a caring, common sense, environmentally aware and great value approach to veterinary medicine we feel our own pets would choose.

We treat dogs and cats in addition most of our staff own and care for rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and other small pets including small cage birds so are very comfortable to offer them veterinary care.  We also have several vets with an interest who treat back garden poultry and wildfowl.
