Abbey Equine is a dedicated equine facility with veterinarians and support staff who care for both the horse and their owners.

Our goal is to maintain our patients' health and extend their success and athletic performance. At all times our consideration is for both the patient and the owner.

We provide a 24-hour dedicated equine service with ambulatory (vet to horse) and clinic base (horse to vet) facilities for the area covering the Welsh valleys, Powys and Monmouthshire with medical and surgical facilities based from our Llanellen centre - 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

You can count on us for our extensive diagnostic imaging and ambulatory services. You can count on us for our pre-eminent lameness examinations, preventative medicine procedures and extensive pre-purchase evaluations.

From: Abergavenny from the Hardwick Roundabout (the one with the rail bridge over that directs you to Hereford,  Monmouth/Raglan or Pontypool) -  take the exit signposted A4042 to Pontypool. The first village you will reach is Llanellen, which you enter over a small humpback bridge.  Go through Llanellen and signposted for Green Court Studios take the left turning down a single track lane off the A4042.   The Abbey Equine Centre is directly opposite the T-junction at the end of the lane.  see diagram below.
